Services

Laying Up-Front Expectations – Our Process

Designs

If you need design services, we offer that In-House. We use Chief Architect to help you design your next Commercial Build or Remodel project. We have Engineers sign off our designs during the permitting process. We can also work directly with any Architectural plans you provide.

Estimating

Once we have design plans in place, either that we created with you, or that you have provided to us, we can begin estimating what your project will cost. We are very thorough in our estimates, paying close attention to detail and planning out every step of the project.

Signing and Scheduling

Once you have settled on your design plans and agreed to our estimate, we can move forward with signing the Agreement and putting you on the schedule. We use JobTread for estimating and scheduling and project management to help keep everyone informed of every step.

Project Implementation

With everything else complete, we can finally move forward with your Commercial Build or Remodel project. With our in-house carpenters and network of excellent Service Providers, you are guaranteed to be satisfied with our results!

FAQs

What is the cost of a consultation?

All Design work and Estimates are provided for FREE upfront. We do charge for it by the hour, but it is only paid for in the Project Deposit if you end up choosing us as your Contractor.

What role do clients play in the design process?

Client input is integral. After our initial consultation we come with preliminary design plans and then collaborate closely with our clients, making any necessary changes until you are 100% satisfied, ensuring the design aligns seamlessly with your vision and preferences.

How long does the design and estimate process typically take?

The timeline varies from several weeks to several months depending on the project’s scope and complexity. We ensure an efficient process without compromising on the meticulous attention to detail.

How are project budgets managed?

We budget out line items for both in-house labor and materials provided, as well as for our Service Contractors who provide both labor and materials. We collect a Deposit upon signing the Agreement that equals our Design and Estimate Fee plus the cost of the project Permit. We divide our Profit Margin in two and collect the first half up-front at the start of your project and the other half when your project is 100% finished and you are 100% satisfied. Each line item is paid for in total at the start of each item ensuring we have everything we need to keep your project flowing smoothly. You always hold onto the Contingency and only release funds from it in the event of Change Orders.
